Two years ago we took a 6 yr old staffy/ridgeback "Lady" from Battersea, beautiful dog, loves kids and sweet with everyone once she gets to know them (bit boisterous to begin with)....
but truly demonic on the lead and with other dogs. She pulled like an express train on the lead (has had me over several times), worse she attacked pretty well every other dog on sight, lunging at them if on the lead and charging them if she was off the lead. All our neighbourly dog walkers hated us and we were having to walk her at night to be able to let her off the lead to get sufficient exercise. We love her to bits but were on the verge of taking her back to Battersea.
Enter Shainy from TrainingTails, truly a miracle worker. After only 4 sessions, Lady now walks on the lead perfectly (no pulling or lunging) and we have instant recall when she is off the lead. Our doggie/owners relationship has become a pleasure and we no longer live in trepidation of another dog appearing round the corner. We recommend Shainy highly for all dog training including dogs from hell!
